ATTENDANCE (5).

Minutes from previous meeting approved. Agenda approved.

This meeting was used to advance the remaining Media Management System standards to ballot.

Status of 1244 standards:

.1 - Modified, ready to be balloted
.2 - Unchanged
.3 - Modified, ready to be balloted
.4 - Modified, ready to be balloted
.5 - Unchanged
.6 - Close but not yet ready to be balloted
.7 - Withdrawn project
.8 - Extremely not ready
.9 - Not ready
.10 - Not ready
.11 - Ready to be balloted

* 1244.1 "Architecture", 1244.3 "MMP", and 1244.4 "LMP" - Review of
accumulated changes since these documents were balloted. We checked for
correct description of syntax and semantics of the new commands/features,
impacts on any existing commands/features, and sufficiency for support of
new commands/features in the other 1244 documents such as the Mover.
These docs are ready for balloting.

* 1244.6 "Export/Import" - Curtis brought a new version that included an
XML Schema used to represent all of the object types in the 1244.1 Data
Model. The Schema has not been checked via an XML syntax checker yet, and
there needs to be a bit more explanation in the document, but once those
are done we can do a final group review and then release it for ballot.

* 1244.8 "C API" - Paul submitted via email his latest version of the .h
include file before the meeting. There was no discussion of this during
the meeting for lack of time.

* 1244.9 "User" and 1244.10 "Admin" - Alan brought a new version of these
docs to the meeting. There was discussion to resolve several open issues
that Alan wanted input on. These docs are mostly complete, but they need
more work before they can go to ballot.

* 1244.11 - Review of wording and punctuation in preparation for balloting.
This doc is ready for balloting.

Next Meeting: It was suggested that a meeting be held in/around San Jose later this year,
but no schedule set.
