Purpose of Teleconference: Review current projects with view of
completing those easiest to attack in the remainder of 2002.
Meeting began with discussion of the companion effort in the Security in
Storage Working Group (SISWG.org), chaired by Jim Hughes. A project
authorization request (PAR) for "Encrypted Shared Media" has been
submitted, and the SISWG will hold its first meeting 20 June 2002 at
West Point, NY (see SISWG.org). Also, a Security in Storage Workshop
will be held 10 September 2002 in the D.C. area.
No discussion of the three tape standards (P1563) was held.
Respecting the Media Management System standards and Mover, the
following was concluded:
1244.6 Media Manager Interchange Protocol: Curtis will write an XML DTD.
(1244.7 Media Manager Control Interface Protocol: Was Withdrawn)
1244.8 The C Language Procedural Interface: Paul has a header file in
text that he will update, and he will develop man pages for the
functions. Comments from previous reviews have not been incorporated.
1244.9 "User Mount Commands" and 1244.10 "Standard Administrative and
Operational Commands": Alan will resume work on these.
1244.11 MOVER: Joel will re-send to the reflector for comment.

* Send Present Email Addresses of WG members to Work Reflector
* Determine Deadlines from IEEE for present set of PARS, send to Work Reflector

* Update the existing header file for 1244.8
* Work on man pages for functions
* Incorporate previous comments, if possible.

* Work on most time-sensitive project as soon as the group identifies this.
* Arrange to meet with Paul and Curtis in San Jose week of 24 June 2002.

* Resume work on 1244.9 and 1244.10.

* Send present editions of documents to the Work Reflector.

* Make some headway in action items by 15 July 2002
for a teleconference prior to meeting.
* Determine support for travel to a face meeting 30-31 July, 1 August 2002
in the D.C. area.
* Review documents sent to the reflector.
