SSSWG Meetings are held every other month, with the first held in late January.
Registration is $150.
Meetings usually begin on a Tuesday at 8:30am and end on the following Thursday around noon (local times).
Meetings are open to all those with an interest.
IEEE membership is not required to attend or participate in meetings, but is required to ultimately vote on an IEEE balloted standard.
Voting within the SSSWG is usually informal, and is aimed at determining simple consensus. For more formal voting, short of the IEEE balloting process, see voting.
Arranging meetings for an unknown number of attendees is difficult and wasteful. PLEASE ATTEMPT TO INFORM THE SSSWG that you are coming so that resources may be scaled to fit.
The location of the meeting is varied so that interested parties in all geographic sections of the U.S. have roughly equal ease of attending.
